NOCTURNAL CULTURE NIGHT 6 - pre-report

The annual German festival “Nocturnal Culture Night” is going to spread its wings once more for already 6th time in Deutzen near Leipzig to close the festival season of 2011! During 3 days two festival stages will be hit by such bands as VNV NATION, ATROCITY, KIRLIAN CAMERA, DAF, 32 CRASH, KLANGSTABIL, SITD, STAUBKIND, KRYPTERIA, TUSKE LUDDER, WHISPERS IN THE SHADOW, PERSEPHONE and many many others.
The management promises also some fashion shows, reading sessions and after-show parties.

As usual a nice and cosy medieval market will be open for all the guests who might want to skip a band to have a beer or some nice food. The 6th NCN's headliners have really something to offer: VNV NATION and the Italian stars CIRLIAN CAMERA will perform the full-time shows and the metal legends ATROCITY (with Liv Kistine hopefully!) are going to play their famous “Werk 80” program consisting of some nice metal covers for the 80's hits. A year ago one of NCN highlights was a highly energetic performance of Thomas Rainer's solo project NACHTMAHR, this year it's time for two more L'AME IMMORTELLE members solo projects to show themselves. Both Sonja Kraushofer's PERSEPHONE and Ashley Dayour's WHISPERS IN THE SHADOW will perform in Deutzen in 2011.

03.07.2011: Line-up changes!! ZEROMANCER performance at NCN is unfortunately cancelled, because Kim Ljung suffers from chronic migraine and this made the band cancel all the 2011 dates.Get well Kim! FIXMER/McCARTHY is already announced as ZEROMANCER's replacement.

NCN is very nice festival in the very heart of Eastern Germany, taking place in Kulturpark Deutzen in Deutzen town. If you want to have some rest from full-of-action giant festivals, just relax, get together with your friends and close another festival season nicely, you just won't miss it, because NCN is really what you need. The relaxed atmosphere of a small town, fresh air and a lot of great music on two stages make you really feel like you're home.
