METALCAMP 2011 - pre-report

The Metalcamp Open Air in Slovenia can easily be called „legendary“ by now. There is a good reason for the success story of „Hell over Paradise“.
The location is simply amazing with cristal clear water, beach and beach bar in combination with lots of bands and Metal for almost a week, what else can you ask for? No more normal holiday needed when you have Metalcamp. The metallic beach holiday is starting its 8th round this year and bands like AIRBOURNE, DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER, KREATOR, LEGION OF THE DAMNED, AMORPHIS, ARCH ENEMY and much more will serve a big dose of Metal.
Apart from well established acts, Metalcamp is also providing the opportunity for younger, upcoming bands to present their material on the second stage. Thus lots of visitors might discover some new bands. All in all you can relax for a complete week in Tolmin, bands play on 5 days and inbetween you can jump into the river or have a beer or two at the beach bar.

7-days-ticket: 119€ (including camping)
3-days-ticket: 87€
1-day-ticket: 45€
